I'm so happy that Kenley is FINALLY eating green beans that I'm going to share it with the world!!!
We started solids back in November. When it came time to try green beans (on Christmas day) Kenley wanted NOTHING to do with them (sweet peas included). We took a break from the greens and moved on. Over the past couple months we've tried to sneak a little in here and there and she still wasn't eating them.
Last night Jonathan made her some sweet potatoes and mixed in half a jar of beans and she ate them!!! For lunch, same thing and again SUCCESS!!!!!! I'm SO glad she's eating her beans. If for nothing else, we can get rid of the stash that's been sitting in our pantry!!!

I've started TWO new blogs!!!
Some of y'all are going to laugh at me, but I've started a cooking blog! The first post states my mission for that blog if you're scratching your head wondering why I am writing about cooking. I'm in no way an expert. I'm the opposite end of the spectrum!! Check it out...should be good for a laugh as I try to improve my cooking skills! :o)

The other is a 'craft' blog where I am selling a couple of my 'crafts'. I plan to sell my Gummie Dolls, nursing covers, burp cloths, bows, and much more! I'm really excited about this blog!

Kenley says "Da-da"!!!!!
Last Friday (Feb 6) we were getting ready to go out of town for the weekend and Kenley was saying "Da-da" all morning. I finally get the camera out and she stops...of course. We did manage to get a double "Da-da" though!
My heart absolutely melted hearing her say "Da-da." It's funny, I always thought I'd be jealous if she said "Da-da" first, but I wasn't. Not even one bit. I was so full of joy and excitement...and how could I not LOVE the sound of my precious baby girl calling for her Daddy!?!

Praise Praise Praise!!!!!!
For the past few weeks I've been following the blog of a wonderful Christian woman, Kelly and the struggles her new little baby girl, Harper, has been facing. (On the right of my blog, you'll notice there is a button for baby Harper.) When Harper was born she was having trouble breathing. Her condition was critical and the doctors weren't sure she would make it through the night.
Fast forward 20 days...
I am SOOOO excited to report that baby Harper gets to go HOME tomorrow!!!!! What a miracle! What an answer to prayer!! God is SO good!! When I read that they get to go home, I started crying...and still am!!! I have been praying for this sweet family and I'm just so filled with joy that God has answered all the prayers for Harper!!!
What I love the most about Kelly is her passion for Christ. I cannot imagine how difficult this has been on her, her husband, and their families...but their trust and faith in the Lord never wavered. God used Harper's story for His glory and b/c of that, several people have accepted Christ as their Savior!
Praise the Lord for what He has done! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl, Kelly! Enjoy taking her home!!!!!!
