Almost 4 months after Kenley's arrival, her birth announcements have finally been ordered! I did something a little different than traditional announcements. All of the designs I liked were going to be pretty pricey. Since we're trying to work on our debt, we just don't have the $$ to spend on something most people will look at then throw away.
SO...I found some designs I liked and recreated them in Photoshop, then added my own touches. It literally took me a couple of months to narrow down the choices and pick THE announcement.
My original plan was to order 5x7's from snapfish then buy envelopes online, BUT I received an email recently that offered an even BETTER cost saving solution from Vistaprint. They are having all kinds of great sales right now...why didn't I think of them first?!?! We've ordered postcards from them in the past so I feel pretty confident ordering our announcements from them. I chose the oversized postcard option and found a coupon for 60% off! (The original email offer was for 50% but I looked around online some more and found the 60% off deal)

So for 100 postcards, 100 envelopes, a small return address stamp and shipping, I only paid $33. I'm soooo pumped!! It feels GREAT to bargain shop AND finally get these things ordered!! :o)
